As part of our efforts to reach out to young people, the Office of the Child and Youth Advocate distributes a newsletter twice a year to provide information to young people in Alberta. Every Spring and Fall, the OCYA creates a fun, engaging newsletter with helpful advice and information for young people receiving services.
We are always looking for new ways to reach out to young people to provide them with information to make informed decisions, understand our role, and to know what to expect when receiving services from the government.
Whether it’s learning about their rights as young people, finding out about workshops and events, or seeing what opportunities are available at OCYA for young people, “OCYA News” will always have something interesting for every reader.
We send out the newsletter by mail, email and we post it on this website. Contact us to add your name to the list!
Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
UPDATE: To make sure that the newsletter appeals to young people and includes information that’s helpful, we asked them some questions about what they thought. A big thank-you to everyone who took the time to do our Newsletter Survey!
