Current Opportunities

The Office of the Child and Youth Advocate (OCYA) requires independent professional contractors to conduct both file reviews and surveys of youth. The file reviews and surveys are required for our advocacy services and for the Legal Representation for Children and Youth (LRCY) program. Youth surveys provide valuable information about how young people experience our programs and services. File reviews and surveys help us evaluate the effectiveness and quality of services provided by our advocates and roster lawyers, and the information is used to determine whether performance measures are met and assist us in continuously improving our services for vulnerable young people.

We are looking to contract a maximum of two youth surveyors from approximately November 1, 2021 to October 31, 2023. Youth surveyors must be willing to complete surveys for both Advocacy Services and the LRCY program. The RFQ can be found at Alberta Purchasing Connection.

We are looking to contract a maximum of three file reviewers from approximately November 1, 2021 to October 21, 2023. File reviewers must be willing to accept files from both Advocacy Services and the LRCY program. The RFQ can be found at Alberta Purchasing Connection.

The closing date is September 22, 2021 at 14:00:59 MT.
