Child and Youth Advocate releases investigative review involving death of a First Nations youth
 
Edmonton… The Office of the Child and Youth Advocate has completed its Investigative Review involving the suicide death of a 15-year-old youth and is publicly releasing the results of the review as outlined under the Child and Youth Advocate Act.

“This young man struggled to have a sense of belonging even though efforts were made to keep him connected to his family,” said Del Graff, Child and Youth Advocate. “Our hope is that immediate action is taken to implement the recommendations to improve services for young people and prevent future tragedies.”
