National Child Day celebrations focus on the 30th anniversary of the Rights of the Child

Events held across the province

Edmonton…Child and Youth Advocate Del Graff is encouraging all Albertans to participate in National Child Day activities across the province over the next week.
“National Child Day is a time to bring the conversation about children’s rights to the forefront, and highlight our efforts to advance and uphold these rights every day,” said Graff. “The UN Convention on the Rights of Child recognizes the basic human rights every child is entitled to, and we encourage all Albertans to join us in actively promoting these rights.”
